Classes


Did you know that you do not have to be a pass holder/member to participate in our fitness classes? However, pass holders/members do get the lowest possible rates for classes. Stop in and see what our certified instructors have to offer. You don't need to sign up for six or eight weeks at a time. Almost all of our classes are drop-in and are available to persons 13 years of age and older. 

Group Fitness Schedule


A Week To Give (Dec. 4 - 10 2016)... this is an opportunity for the fitness community to give back. 100% of participating class fees are donated to the Groveport Human Needs Adopt-A-Family. The goal is $2,500.00. All participating instructors are selling tickets to their classes now. You may also purchase tickets at the front desk of the Groveport Recreation Center. All fees must be paid in cash, check or money order, made payable to Groveport Madison Adopt-A-Family. - Thank you for your generous support. 
Thank you Groveport!  Together we raised $2,810.00 for the Groveport Human Needs Adopt A Family!

Do you need individualized attention to help reach your fitness goals or just some help getting started? Personal Trainer services are only available to members.

  • Contact one of our sanctioned certified Personal Trainers on your own.
  • Tell him/her what your fitness goals are.
  • Agree to the terms of a contract.
  • Pay the personal trainer directly.
  • Enjoy reaching your fitness goals.

Fitness Assessments


Fitness Assessments are available to all GRC Members and are completed by a certified Personal Trainer. Assessments are a great tool to see where you are as compared to other of your gender and age group, and are also a great way to measure your progress. The test includes: Push-Ups (Strength), 1-mile Run/Walk (Endurance), Sit and Reach (Flexibility) and Bioelectrical Impedance (Body Fat).
