Minor League Baseball (Bally Sports)

Bally Sports Group Minor League Baseball is a great introduction to coach-pitch baseball for beginning baseball players.  The instructional portion of the program utilizes developmentally appropriate drills with modifications and/or progressions implemented when necessary, helping every child improve their baseball skills despite their current abilities.  Skills taught will include batting, fielding, throwing, and catching.  The program will also include a modified, non-competitive game each week.  As weeks progress, new aspects of the game/game scenarios will be added to allow children to learn within the context of the game.  Children will be able to use a tee during the game if they are having difficulty hitting a pitched ball.  Parent participation is welcomed in this program.  All coaches will emphasize and demonstrate the importance of great sportsmanship and create an encouraging and positive atmosphere that helps players build self-esteem and ensures your child has that great baseball experience. A baseball glove is required.
