Infant Swimming Resource Lessons go beyond traditional swimming instruction by teaching children to potentially save themselves if they were to find themselves in the water alone. The ISR Self-Rescue program will give your child the competence, confidence & skills of aquatic safety.
SURVIVAL FLOATING: Generally speaking, children 6 months to 1 year learn the ISR Self-Rescue skill of rolling onto their backs to float, rest & breathe; being able to maintain a floating position until help arrives.
SWIM-FLOAT-SWIM: Older, more mobile children (generally 1 - 6 years old) will learn the full ISR Self-Rescue sequence of swimming with their head down, rotating on the back to float, rest & breathe, rolling back over to continue to swim, repeat this sequence until they reach the safety of the steps, side of the pool or the shoreline.
