Junior Cavs Youth Basketball & Cheer
The Groveport Recreation Department and the GYAA are excited to announce our partnership with the Cleveland Cavaliers! The Junior Cavs program is designed for girls and boys to learn & develop basketball fundamentals and to have fun! We will be offering Girls and Boys Divisions offered in the following divisions Minis (5-7yrs), Junior (8-10yrs) and Senior (11-13).
Players shoot at 10' hoops and play 5 vs 5 full court games. Practices times will be announced after registration has closed and teams have been assigned and will take place at local schools in the area. Games will be played at Groveport Recreation Center and tentatively scheduled January through early March on weekends. Fee includes jersey and shorts.
All participants who sign up for the Junior Cavs league will get to participate in a 1 day basketball camp hosted by the cavaliers, that will be taught by a youth coach from Cavaliers.
